I can assure you the egg roll recipe has not changed @ Chin's Restaurant. I can tell you from time to time our distributor(s) will be out of our regular egg roll skins/wrappings and that is the only thing would vary. Hope this helps.
As a matter of fact we do, and it's some of our better dishes, hope to see you soon.
I'm sure they do have high chairs
This is the worst place to eat in all of Charleston...horrible horrible food. Nothing was edible...75.00 gone and still hungry. Not sure what two of the dishes were supposed to be...appetizers were just bad too. I feel some of the five star reviews are fake now that I have eaten here. Avoid at all costs to save your money and frustration. Terrible service too.
The most amazing Chinese food I have had since chef wongs in St. Albans was opened! Loved it!
First place I ever had Chinese, 1989! Still the best!
They have tofu that isn't overcooked rubber. Try actual tofu dishes today!
You gotta try the egg rolls. I had Moo Goo Gail Pan, which was excellent.
Egg rolls not cooked, pineapple chicken was awful, a breaded chicken patty sliced with a few pieces of pineapple and a small container of rice.
First time there. The was great. I am from Cleveland and there are many sit down Chinese restaurants. They are great and this restaurant compares. I enjoyed it, more authentic Chinese food than the troughs at all the buffets. I live in Huntington and will travel back to eat. My granddaughter, who hates Chinese food, took my doggie box and ate and enjoyed. Would recommend to anyone.
When I worked in Charleston, I would eat lunch at Chin's a couple times a week. Hands down, the best Chinese food in the area. Disregard all the negative reviews. I NEVER had a bad meal here, and the service is wonderful.
Great food, great staff, and fast service
Had lunch. I don't remember the name of the dish, but the chicken was amazing
Hands down the best Chinese food in the Kanawha Valley. Order of egg rolls are a must. I have never had a bad dish here and the service is excellent. IGNORE THE MIKE KEFFER REVIEW .... Look at the rest of his reviews .... he is fake.
We love Chin's the best egg roll in world. Great
Good food, nice restaurant, but pricey compared to other family owned Asian restaurants
Love the family and the food is so good
Best Chinese place in Charleston
Best Chinese meals in Charleston with sit down menu. Very courteous staff of a family owned restaurant. Consistent taste of foods. Parking can be a problem if you come late for lunch. Adjacent parking after five.
The absolute best real authentic Chinese food hands down thank you so very much.
Great food
Truly authentic Chinese cuisine served up in a family run establishment. The staff are always friendly and personable which elevates this to a must visit restaurant in Charleston. Be sure to try the egg rolls!
Loved the food. This restaurant does not seem to use the sugar that most places typically put in the food. This is not buffet style.
We come here regularly, and have never had a bad experience. The food is so good, I don't even like take-out places anymore. We've brought a few friends and family members with us lately, and have "converted" them, too.
Had take out. Quick service. Egg rolls didn't have any bean sprouts, too much celery, and mushy inside - but we're a good size. Seemed like the veggie mix in the King Pow Chicken was a frozen mixture. I have had much better chinese food.
Excellent locally family owned. Serving authentic dishes with large portions. Come hungry!
Fine, authentic, family owned restaurant. Friendly and courteous staff. Worth finding this place using Google.
Food was good. Egg rolls were excellent.
Fast and friendly service but the food was only mediocre. We ordered egg rolls which were very good. Lettuce wraps were only Ok. And the chicken fried rice was a little on the dry side for my liking. An ok place but wasn’t too impressed.
Best in the area. Huge step up from other options in the area. Diverse menu options, generous portions, impeccable service.
Excellent food and service every time
Great food made me feel like I was back in California will be back one of the best in Wv
Found this place over six years ago and finally got to come back with my wife. She's not normally an Oriental food person but we both absolutely loved the atmosphere, the owners and definitely the food. This time we had the dumplings and the Tahitian Chicken with fried rice and egg drop soup. Neither of us have ever had that type of chicken but it was a very pleasant surprise. Their hot oolong tea was so amazing that my wife made me pick up an extra box of it to take home. We will definitely go there again when we're in town and look forward to talking with the owners again and an awesome meal.
We've.been coming to Chin's sonce they opened. Always have had good food and great service. A very family friendly place.
Always excellent. One of the best restaurants in Charleston.
The food is delicious and the people are wonderful
Foods reasonably priced, very clean place and restrooms😊😊😊
One of my favorite Charleston restaurants for more than 30 years.
A Charleston staple! Best Chinese food ever. Consistently delicious. 💖
A good neighborhood eatery
If I could give a negative star I would. We ordered a takeout. Egg foo young, chicken teriyaki and Mongolian beef. The food was gross, has no flavors whatsoever.
Amazing restaurant. Food was a little pricey and not a lot of selections for kids, but a great place to go on a date or have a meet up with friends.
They are charging a 15% service charge on all orders. No explanation why other than what’s going on. Taking advantage of the current situation. Price gauging at urs finest. Will never eat here again.
Quick and friendly
Fresh made delivered hot to the table wonderful food
I may have already reviewed Chin's, but since I was asked, I will say it again. This restaurant is a MUST. Everything is fresh. Everything I've tried is wonderful, and I've been all over the menu. Soups, original egg rolls, Rangoon, main dishes; it doesn't matter. You'll find each superior to similar dishes (but not exact) offered at the typical Chinese take out establishment. Unlike the typical, Chin's is unique, with recepies handed down along with a superb dedication to service. Go. Try anything ( and I HIGHLY recommend the Tahitian Chicken). Enjoy.
A mom and pops family Chinese restaurant. The food was outstanding and the hospitality is unmatched
Hands down best oriental food in West Virginia. Can not go wrong with any dish here, also will leave you hard pressed to find better egg rolls anywhere else. Great calm an relaxing atmosphere.
This is our kitchen away from home. Absolutely love everything about Chins. Amazing family and the best food in town.
Chicken fried rice is the best dish here
My mom used to take us here anytime we came to Charleston from Logan. This is by far the best Chinese food I've had from Chicago to Florida PERIOD! BEST EGG FOO YOUNG EVER!
The best Chinese around. Eat here all the time. I love it!
